 Honorary Members

Our past Chaplains each developed their own rapport with the boys in the group, led us in prayer, and preached on various topics related to the band.

Past Chaplain, Fr. Federico Masutti

Fr. Masutti agreed to be the chaplain of the band following the transfer of Fr. Novokowsky in the Fall of 2008.  He served as chaplain until July of 2009.  During Fr. Masutti's tenure with the band he helped with various things.  He taught the membership about the meaning of Eutrapelia (right recreation).  Fr. Masutti also spoke to the band members and their families about the Shield of Faith while reading from a book by Father Lasance (The Young Man's Guide).

Past Chaplain, Fr. Robert Novokowsky

Fr. Novokowsky was our first band chaplain.  He graciously gave permission for the band to be formed in March of 2007.  During his tenure, Fr. Novokowsky spoke to the band about unity and what it means to truly "band together".  He also treated upon the greater good to be achieved by a group of people who selflessly work together, as opposed to a group of "individualists".
